We are looking for our Financial Control Manager, someone who is eager to support our growth ambitions and would like to play a key role in the Finance Team.
Your mission
Your responsibilities will be overseeing the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring they are accurate and timely including the accuracy and integrity of financial data, transactions, and reporting. This includes to ensure the organization complies with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. You continuously will improve financial processes and systems, including developing ways of working and using new Technologies. You will develop people to ensure there is a strong team collaborating, where talents can grow and a succession plan for key roles is ensures is a cornerstone of the role.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to join our team. You have a solid background in finance and ideally financial controlling, with a profile of being self-going and proactive. You are customer oriented, and see and implement improvements. Strong leadership and communications skills are important. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and cultivate functions reporting to you by providing professional development opportunities and guidance. Functions include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accountants, tax.
- Oversee financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements as well accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Drives month end closing process according to local, as well as Sandvik group requirements.
- Ensures accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Dormer Pramet acts as a shared service center for other companies within Sandvik so the person will be responsible for the reporting of other companies having sales in Brazil (Coromant, Walter, Seco and Sandvik Holding).
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors as the first point of contact.
- Actively identifies and manages optimization and automation of the financial processes.
- Implements cost-saving measures and initiatives to enhance financial performance.
- Ensure appropriate cash flow to satisfy business demands by providing correct reporting, cash flow projections, and actively manages the balance sheet items.
- Advises operational leaders regarding the impact of any decisions on overall financials.
- Ensures all tax obligations are calculated correctly and reported on time.
- Acts as a second pair of eyes related to bank transactions.
- Will have co-signatory responsibility together with Managing Director
- Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (desirable active CRC), Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related areas.
- Previous experience as a Controller or in Financial Management or related areas.
- Mastery of the budgeting process, financial analysis, and cost calculation.
- Experience in SAP implementation and process optimization.
- Leadership and people development skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Microsoft Office (advanced).
- Desirable knowledge in SAP Modules FI e CO
