Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to help lead and oversee critical functions within this rapidly growing organization.
This Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for business partnering, decision support, financial modeling, controllership and operations cost controls.
This person will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high-growth organization.
This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various retail, transportation, and finance teams to identify best practices across the network and lead cost improvement efforts for operations.
The Financial Analyst will also lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as execute ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide timely and insightful reporting of financial results
- Support financial review processes including monthly financial, quarterly and annual business reviews, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analytics
- Drive continual standardization and streamlining of planning and forecasting processes
- Develop tools to drive better understanding of Brazil performance and metric trends
- Work with data source providers to ensure that data is accurate, automated and timely available
- Work closely with the Operations & Supply Chain team and be responsible for tracking associated expenses
- Expertise in collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analyses to lead business improvement and cost reductions
- Building financial models, presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
- Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the operations
- Partnering across the finance organization to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
- Driving automation of reporting and analytics

- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
- Ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners and influence
- Prior experience supporting business decision making through financial analysis
- Previous experience within a Manufacturing, Distribution Center or Logistics processes and systems a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment
