Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.Resumes must be submitted in English.Responsibilities:Ensure conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices in accordance with GAAPDesign and control operational processes to ensure efficiency and complianceConduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk or non-compliance within the organizationDevelop and execute audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and proceduresPerform audits of financial statements, operations, and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirementsDocument audit findings, including deficiencies and recommendations for improvementCommunicate audit results to management and provide recommendations for remediationMonitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions are takenManage additional projects and duties as assignedRequirements:100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skillsOver 5 years of professional experience in the field with a strong background in financial institution's accounting and financial reporting departments, preferably with Big4 audit experience in the financial sectorExperience in bank accounting and financial operationsAbility to resolve complex problems without supervisionBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldProfessional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similarExperience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferredPositive attitude and willingness to learnProactive approach and strong work ethicExcellent attention to detailBenefits:CONTRACT / CONSULTANCY POSITIONCompensation: DOE100% Remote WorkingUSD SalarySeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeContractJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
