They leverage structural proteins from plants to replicate the fibril structures of collagen in animal hides, creating a fiber that looks, feels, and performs like leather.Working Conditions:Fully remote position.Flexible work hours.Initial workload of 10-12 hours per week.Potential for increased hours during critical periods.Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement financial strategies aligning with company objectivesProvide financial insights to support senior executive decision-makingPartner with COO in sales projection planning and revenue forecastingUtilize and improve financial modeling tools for accurate COGS calculation, revenue forecasting, and long-term budgetingFinancial Reporting & Analysis:Prepare and present regular financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements)Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policiesCash Flow & Treasury Management:Manage company cash flow for liquidity and financial stabilityOversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment strategiesImplement effective working capital management practicesOperational Finance:Supervise financial operations (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance)Optimize internal financial processes for efficiency and accuracyImprove COGS calculation accuracyDevelop material measurement conversion tools for planning and purchasingIdentify and rectify inaccuracies in current financial modelsImplement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assetsRisk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risksEnsure appropriate insurance coverage and risk management strategiesOversee compliance with financial laws and regulationsFundraising & Investor Relations:Assist with fundraising efforts, including financial modeling and investor presentationsManage relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholdersProvide financial due diligence support for strategic initiativesLead financial audits and manage relationships with external auditorsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferredMinimum 10 years experience in senior financial roles, preferably across multiple industriesStrong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and managementProven track record in developing and implementing growth-driving financial strategiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience with fundraising, investor relations, and financial modelingProficiency with financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, ERP systems)Compensation:Competitive salary paid in USD or Local Currency according to your preference.Potential for performance-based bonuses.If you are a strategic financial leader with a passion for innovation and the ability to drive business growth through financial expertise, we want to hear from you!
