With more than 3,000 employees, we produce a wide range of products, including cheese, fresh dairy, cream, tapas, and milk powder, for the global markets.
We work closely with dairy farmers and strategic partners to create sustainable agri-food chains.
Our global accounting team is mainly based in the Netherlands and collaborates internationally with other teams to ensure financial compliance across all our markets.
Responsibilities
Daily Financial Operations: Manage and supervise daily financial tasks, ensuring accurate accounting and regulatory compliance.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely financial reports and participate in the closing of accounting periods as part of the periodic reporting process.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets and financial targets aligned with business strategy.
Payment Management: Prepare payment batches, ensuring efficient and timely management of financial obligations.
Cost Control: Analyze costs and implement financial controls to optimize resources and minimize waste.
Risk Management: Collaborate in identifying and managing financial risks in coordination with the risk department.
Tax Declarations: Prepare and submit tax declarations as required.
Who are you?
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with a background in accounting, financial control, and analysis.
Minimum of 4 years in a financial role.
Experience in auditing firms or administrative finance and accounting roles is highly valued.
Advanced English proficiency, essential for collaborating with teams in the Netherlands.
Experience with financial systems and ERP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for financial control and reporting.
Effective communication and collaboration across departments and with external partners.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Availability for occasional travel to the Netherlands, especially during the initial training period.
Where will you work?
You will be based at our production facility in Salas, Asturias, working closely with the management team.
While the primary location is in Asturias, occasional travel may be required as needed.
