This role will be remote-based and will work with the CFO to prepare and automate various financial reports.
This role will post and ensure proper classifications for all accounting transactions such as:Vendor UploadAccounts PayableAccounts Receivable InvoicesCash ReceiptsHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closingsReconcile balance sheet accountsAccrued ExpensesPrepaid ExpensesAccrued InterestBank accounts (daily)Accrued CommissionsAccrued IncentivesAccounts payable and receivableSales Tax PayableEnsure P&L by class is correctly postedEnsure employee expenses are correctly coded by account and classFile monthly sales tax returns with appropriate statesPublish accounting financial statementsWork with CFO to prepare and automate various financial reportsWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLEWork experience as an AccountantWorking knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Hands-on experience with QuickBooksAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesExperience with general ledger functions and monthly closing processStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsBS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degreeDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSAdditional certification (CPA) is a plusWe know that not everyone will meet all of the qualifications listed above.
