Hardware at TRACTIAN The Hardware team is responsible for designing and improving our IoT devices, dealing with every step of the development process, ranging from PCB design, firmware programming, case design, validations and certifications, always aiming to build trustworthy products that can be produced at a mass scale. What you'll do As a Firmware QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software products. A critical component of your role will involve the meticulous and thorough documentation of the test process. Your expertise in quality assurance processes and methodologies will be essential in driving our commitment to delivering exceptional software solutions. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) process, ensuring efficient and automated delivery of firmware products.Develop unit test scripts to verify the functionality and integrity of individual components or modules within the firmware system.Create test automation scripts to automate the execution of test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage for the firmware product.Document test methodologies, including test strategies, test plans, and test cases, to provide clear guidelines for the testing process and ensure consistent and effective testing practices.Collaborate with the development team to incorporate automated testing into the firmware development lifecycle, enabling frequent and reliable testing of new features and code changes.Collaborate with the QA team to identify and address any gaps or issues in the testing process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality firmware products.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.Minimum of 1 years experience working with electronics.Familiarity with data acquisition, data processing, and data logging for testing purposes.Familiarity with software development tools, such as: VSCode, and GitHub.Experience with scripting languages, like Python and MATLAB.Familiarity with C programming language.Experience with laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DAQs, multimeters, and power supplies.Intermediary or better English proficiency.Bonus PointsFamiliarity with test implementations in a TDD or BDD environment.Familiarity with C++ programming language.Experience with firmware concepts, like RTOS, HAL, and other drivers.Experience with GitHub Actions, for CI/CD implementations.Excellent analytical skills.COMPENSATION• Competitive salary and stock options• Optional fully funded English / Spanish courses• 30 days of paid annual leave• Education and courses stipend• Earn a trip anywhere in the world every 4 years• Day off during the week of your birthday• R$200 a month for remote work allowance• Mental health support: we cover 40% of the cost of your therapy• Health plan with national coverage and without coparticipation• Dental Insurance: we help you with dental treatment for a better quality of life.• Up to R$5.000 bonus for referring new Blue CapsIf you want to build a ship, don't organize people to collect wood, assign them tasks, and give orders.
