Food & Beverage Team Leader
at our Phoenix Branch in Durban.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting food and beverage management and team.
This includes health and safety management, facility, kitchen and stock management.
Adhere to departmental and company policies, procedures and reporting.
Ensure food and beverage operations attract, retain and provide the best dining experience.

You Bring:
Experience within the food and beverage industry.
Understanding of food controls.
Supervisory experience.
A Bonus To Have:
Relevant Diploma, Degree or NQF 4 Learnership.
Valid driver's license.
What You'll Do For The Branch:
Ensure internal Food and Beverage processes are followed.
Ensure that the Food and Beverage Department is adequately staffed for the shift.
Request front of house stock (Kitchen stock, bar stock, etc.)
and manage Food and Beverage inventory.
Ensure the GAAP/POS system is operational during hours.
Observe and evaluate staff and work procedures to ensure quality service.
Submit stock requisitions to the Storeman.
Conduct a stock count after the shift and complete a stock reconciliation.
Ensure order numbers for department purchases are requested daily.
Update the time management system daily.
Account for all wastages and breakages during the shift.
Record staff meal purchases and verify content and quantity.
Follow cash management processes.
Address and recover shortages.
Roster staff considering busy periods and operational requirements.
Manage staff conduct, discipline, and performance.
Ensure superior customer service and experience.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly Food and Beverage reports.
Conduct a meeting before the shift to direct the team.
Manage time for waitrons/bartenders.
Work closely with the Food and Beverage Branch Manager to enhance customer experience.
Perform any other ad hoc duties required.
