We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our expert team of Specialists in Food Ingredients.We are looking for our next Application Manager to manage a team of experts to develop applications that showcase new and existing IFF ingredients, flavors, technologies, and capabilities for use in presentations and to execute customer project briefs. Provide technical information and assistance directly to account managers and customers. Drive sales through analytics and flawless management of the team's resources. Develop direct reports through training programs, coaching, and inclusive leadership. Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence and intrapersonal skills, and decision making is highly required.ResponsibilitiesManage the execution of daily project briefs to deliver on customer expectations and timelines.Lead and develop processed meat, fats & oils products, sauces, and dressings prototypes using IFF ingredients/flavors and technology.Supervise Food Technologists guiding their daily priorities, tasks, and constructing career development plans.Implement and execute strategic initiatives along with your commercial partners.Manage project pipeline, win rate, prepare project reports, drive sales.Comfortable to lead customer working sessions, conduct customer and internal presentations to share category capabilities and prototypes.Provide all necessary technical communications to account managers, business development, marketing, and others.Set clear priorities for the team, guide and eliminate potential roadblocks to ensure timely execution.Work in customer manufacturing facilities when required for possible scale-ups.Job RequirementsB.S. Degree in Food Science or related disciplines. MBA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in the food ingredient industry.5 years in processed meat.5 years in a people leadership role.High level knowledge of recipe, ingredients, raw materials and their function as it relates to processed meat.Good knowledge of ingredients legislation.Product development/formulation of products and sensory testing abilities.Business acumen to drive sales.
