Food & Beverage Manager Northern, Kwazulu Natal

Cedar Wood Recruitment is now recruiting for our client, a 4 Star hotel based in Northern KwaZulu natal for a professional, experienced and motivated individual to join the team as a Food & Beverage Manager.
Must have worked in 4 or 5 star properties ,have experience with conferences and organising weddings

Good wine knowledge a must

**Responsibilities**
- Manage all F&B day-to-day operations within budget and to the highest standards
- Ensure excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Design exceptional food and beverage menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
- Ensure the appropriate ambiance in all F&B areas is maintained at all times
- Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel.
- Staff training and rostering
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Manage regular stock take process

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Proven Food & Beverage Management experience in a 4/5 star hotel
- Diploma or similar in Food Service Management or related field
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry and up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
- Strong leadership skills from organizational, delegation, problem-solving to communication skills.
- Have the ability to develop and be innovative in the F&B department
- Strong attention to detail - Strong computer skills (MS Office, Micros, Opera)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Patient and with good training skill

**Salary**: R22'000 negotiable
