Job DescriptionResponsable for international trade operations, including import and export processes, ensuring compliance with global regulations and trade laws.
Coordinate and oversee the preparation of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and import/export licenses.
Negotiate rates and conditions with logistics service providers such as carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
Monitor and optimize costs related to international trade, ensuring efficiency and competitiveness.
Oversee fiscal and tax processes related to imports and exports, ensuring all legal obligations are met.
Prepare and present performance reports and key metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Participate in the analysis and implementation of international trade agreements and special customs regimes, such as drawback and ex-tariff incentives.
Manage and ensure compliance with customs processes aligned with the requirements of the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) program, promoting efficiency and security in the supply chain.
Develop and implement practices to meet the security and reliability standards of the AEO program, aiming for certification or maintaining existing status.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in international Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing import/export operations and coordinating trade processes.
Strong knowledge of customs legislation, special trade regimes, and international transportation standards.
Advanced or fluent English (both written and spoken).
Proficiency with trade management systems and ERP tools (e.g., SAP or similar).
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Experience in developing and implementing processes for certification as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risks in the supply chain.
Actively participate in maintaining AEO certification, conducting internal audits and liaising with government authorities to ensure adherence to standards.
