Our unique model turns conventional VC on its head.Job Type: Full time, remoteHow will you make an impactThe FP&A Associate will work closely with the fund leadership team to drive the firm's mission of growing new ventures by:Ensuring that our portfolio companies adhere to the highest standards of accounting rules and regulations, maintaining accurate financial records and reporting practices.Supporting financial planning and analysis activities at the fund level, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.Collaborating with portfolio companies to develop and maintain financial models, providing guidance and support as necessary.What you will bring to the tableMinimum of 3 years of experience in a Big Four accounting firm.Understanding of accounting rules, with the ability to ensure compliance with GAAP. Experience in financial statements preparation, audit support, and internal control.Proficiency in financial planning techniques including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling. Able to develop comprehensive financial models to support decision-making.Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, preferred.Ability to build operational processes and establish and meet ambitious KPIs.Solid analytical, strategic, and data-based problem-solving skills.Good compatibility with EST time zone.Affinity for joining a high-performing team that values collaboration, expectations of excellence, candor, and deep analysis.Bachelor's Degree from a leading institution.Experience with Venture Capital is a plus.
