For further information, please visit: www.rws.com About this opportunity: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator with native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese, fluency in English and experience in the IT industry. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with big clients and contribute to exciting projects. Responsibilities: o Translate complex scientific texts and documents from Brazilian Portuguese to English and vice versa. o Ensuring accuracy and maintaining the intended meaning of the original content. o Collaborate with the project team to ensure deadlines are met and project objectives are archived. o Utilize your knowledge of IT terminology to accurately and precisely translate scientific documents Requirements: o Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and fluency in English. o Based in Brazil o At least 4 years of professional translation experience in the IT industry o Strong knowledge of scientific terminology and concepts o A degree in Translation or equivalent experience and training o Excellent communication and writing skills o Experience with CAT tools (especially Trados) o Able to issue invoices We look forward to hearing from you Every RWS story starts with an application and our aim is to ensure every applicant has a world-class experience at every step.
