Front End Engineer

Rain is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer who can quickly adapt to our technology stack. As a Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to identify opportunities and implement solutions for both internal and external clients. Your role will involve developing new features and improving our existing codebase. This position is fully remote. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the frontend team to develop web applications and sites. Actively participate in the entire product lifecycle, from conception and planning to implementation, deployment, and client feedback. Review the team's work, contribute to important product and technical decisions, and ensure the health and efficiency of our systems. Enhance our codebase and write automated tests. Requirements: Proven experience with production-ready React projects. Fluent in English with strong communication skills. Extensive knowledge of React 18 with hooks. Strong skills in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. Proficiency in TypeScript. Experience with automated testing (preferably playwright/selenium) and unit tests in JavaScript (preferably Jest and React Testing Library). Familiarity with REST APIs and JWT authentication. Preferred Skills: Experience with React Native. Knowledge of CI/CD processes. Familiarity with AWS services (mainly S3 and CloudFront). Experience with TanStack Query and Mock Service Worker (MSW JS). Visual testing experience (Chromatic/Percy). Proficiency in Chakra-UI and Storybook. Knowledge of Webpack, and Playwright / Selenium Experience with Cypress.
