Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with a background building web applications and browser extensions. In this role, you'll be instrumental in advancing Verbalista's Chrome extension, focusing on elevating the user experience on our platform. Responsibilities: Work directly with the founding team to develop and maintain core interfaces and our Chrome extension. Convert product and design requirements into discrete engineering tasks. Conduct exhaustive testing to guarantee the user experience aligns perfectly with design specifications. Proactively diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify any issues, ensuring seamless integration across various applications. Qualifications: Expertise in Chrome Extension APIs and web technologies. Proficiency with Lit or similar frameworks for native web components. Demonstrated experience in developing web extensions with an emphasis on user experience. Experience with accessibility tools and technologies. Understanding of UX/UI Design Principles. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. English fluency is not required , but preferred. Interview Expectations: Candidates must be able to provide examples of previous web front-end applications they built and explain the development process in detail. The interview process consists of two rounds: a phone screen and a technical test.
