About This Team Aurora's ad tech platform serves as a central point of truth for both Aurora clients and the internal team. Through an integrated solution, clients can manage advertising accounts, billing, subscriptions, affiliate partnerships, analytics and much more. We aim to deliver frictionless user experiences that allow worldwide businesses to manage their advertising under one roof. By developing our ad tech platform, we aim to innovate and make advertising more accessible for our clients; providing them with the data they need to make business-critical decisions. Your Responsibilities Build and optimize scalable, high-performance web applications that enable seamless account setup, fund management, and subscription services for our clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Account Management, to design, develop, and maintain features on Aurora's ad tech platform. Develop both front-end and back-end components, ensuring a smooth user experience and integration with third-party APIs for platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and Google. Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development and ensuring high-quality documentation. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, improve system performance, and ensure platform stability and reliability. Ensure security best practices and compliance with industry standards, especially around sensitive data related to user accounts, payments, and advertising metrics. Who You Are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum Requirements 3 years of experience in software engineering across a range of web applications. Good proficiency with TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, Comfortable working in both backend and frontend systems. Experience with third-party integrations and some API development. Strong understanding of collaborative development and version control systems. Preferred Requirements Working proficiency with TypeORM, Postgres, and Chakra UI. Engineering experience in the advertising industry. Passion for building high-performance products that will be used by both external clients and internal team. Reflex for writing optimized, scalable and durable code that is highly efficient. Strong written and verbal communication skills for different audiences (management, clients, stakeholders etc.). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Pay and Benefits The annual salary for this role is $42,000 - $78,000. This salary range is inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the selection process based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, location and application. Additional Benefits The additional benefits for this role may include performance bonuses, commissions or profit share.
