JOB OVERVIEWPlan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack React/NodeJS with a strong focus on creating high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. The candidate should be proficient in ReactJS and NodeJS and have a deep understanding of non-functional requirements that ensure the overall excellence of web applications.Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience using ReactJS and NodeJS to be considered for this role.JOB RESPONSIBILITYArchitect and develop high-performance ReactJS applications that consistently meet stringent NFRs, including responsiveness, load times, and user experience going beyond code to understand user behavior, optimize rendering, and leverage performance profiling tools.Design and implement secure and scalable NodeJS backend services using Express.js. Security principles will be embedded in every line of code and ensure the infrastructure can handle high traffic volumes efficiently.Utilize WebSockets to enable real-time communication while adhering to NFRs for latency and data integrity, analyzing the performance implications of real-time updates and optimizing accordingly.Choose and manage data storage solutions (Redis & PostgreSQL) with scalability and maintainability in mind. Design efficient data models, optimize queries, and ensure data access adheres to security best practices.Implement responsive design principles to deliver flawless user experiences across all devices and screen sizes, analyzing accessibility guidelines and test your applications thoroughly for various resolutions.Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and NFR compliance, doing functionality checks and write tests that measure performance, security, and maintainability metrics.Collaborate effectively with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features that meet both functional and non-functional requirements on time and within budget.Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, with a particular focus on advancements in NFR optimization, being an avid learner and continuously seek ways to improve the performance, security, and maintainability of your applications.EXPERIENCE5+ years of experience as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer or similar role.Proven track record of building complex web applications with a strong focus on NFRs.Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS and related technologies (Redux, React Router, etc.) to build performant and interactive user interfaces, experience with performance optimization techniques.Solid understanding of NodeJS and Express.js for building secure and scalable APIs.Comfortable with asynchronous programming, security best practices, and infrastructure optimization.Experience with WebSockets and their application in real-time applications, considering latency, data integrity requirements, and best practices of this technology.Knowledge of Redis and PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval, considering scalability and maintainability implications and optimizing queries for performance.Strong understanding of mobile responsive design principles and implementation techniques, including accessibility guidelines.Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) and performance testing tools to deliver code quality and write tests to ensure NFR compliance.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written English communication skillsInitiative and drive to do great thingsABOUT THE COMPANY/BENEFITSPlan A Technologies is an American software development and technology advisory firm that brings top-tier engineering talent to clients around the world.
