Full Stack Engineer (React Native + Ruby On Rails)

Full-Stack Developer Who we are: We are a VC-backed pre-seed B2B company. More specifically, we're a retail audit & execution platform leveraging weekly shoppers + computer vision to enable brands to affordably understand and optimize their shelf presentation, which drives better sell-through. Shoppers record aisles with our mobile app (iOS & Android). The videos are then analyzed and translated into actionable insights to brands via our visual dashboard based platform. Beta launches in Q2 with 10+ brands. Tech Stack: Hetal's mobile app is built on React Native and is available for both iPhone and Android users. Hetal's dashboards platform is built with Ruby on Rails and React and uses AWS to host the Products Admin and Dashboard/Analytics sections. Dashboards will be built using Chart.js, which is a flexible Javascript charting library for the web. About the role: You will work with our CTO to assist with the full stack development of our Analytics Dashboard. This will be a full time role. It will start as a 40 hour per week contract for a four week period, so you can assess how you enjoy working with the team. We're a small team where everyone has a voice and you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the product directly. You should feel comfortable working with the team to understand business priorities and how technical requirements and time tables may affect the product roadmap. You will: Build dashboards using Ruby on Rails and React Develop and iterate backend algorithms with Ruby on Rails Work with our CTO to ensure backend data translates to functional dashboards Work with our designer to ensure design compliance with Figma dashboards Iterate and optimize our Product Admin to allow for more flexibility and speed Build and connect APIs between Hetal and external codebases Iterate and improve the mobile app on both the front and backend Find and fix bugs within the entire codebase, as needed Build unit tests (as time permits) Clean and maintain the codebase with proper commenting procedure Build admin tools to improve analysis and sales processes 3rd party system integrations to improve and optimize processes, like marketing automation software and payment automation Comfortable communicating with non-technical cofounders about product roadmap priorities You have: 3+ Years Experience with both React and Ruby on Rails Built front-end applications with React Ability to work with others You are: Resourceful Communicative Able to work well with others and independently Able to work within some level of ambiguity Capable of thinking through a product's architecture to make the best strategic development decisions Detail oriented
