Job Description:As a Full Stack Software Engineer at MetaCTO, you will develop both client and server-side applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative, high-quality solutions. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, from MVPs to fully-fledged systems, while helping shape our development practices.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, React, and Node.js.Build, test, and deploy APIs and backend services, leveraging AWS infrastructure.Manage and optimize databases, primarily MySQL, to ensure performance and security.Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to deliver a seamless user experience.Integrate and maintain headless CMS platforms such as Strapi to support dynamic content management.Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.Ensure high performance of applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development cycle. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.3+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on JavaScript, React, Node.js, AWS, MySQL, and Strapi.Strong understanding of front-end and back-end architecture and best practices.Experience in building RESTful APIs and working with third-party APIs.Proficiency with databases, particularly MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.Knowledge of headless CMS frameworks like Strapi.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote, fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in a Node.js environment.Familiarity with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.Understanding of security best practices for cloud applications.Experience implementing RESTful APIs in React & Node environments.Hands-on experience with Strapi customization and plugin development.
