We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, specialising in Java and ReactJS to join our technology team. This role is perfect for a developer who has a strong foundation in Java frameworks and is skilled in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of scalable web applications and dynamic software solutions.
Requirements
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions using Java as a back-end technology and ReactJS as a front-end technology.
Work across the full stack from database schema design to business logic to user interface implementation.
Design and implement user-friendly front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React.
Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop environments.
Develop and maintain robust APIs and back-end services using Java.
Optimise back-end services for speed and efficiency.
Design and implement database schemas and conduct performance tuning in SQL Server or other relational databases.
Manage data integration, migrations, and handling using Entity Framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and to share knowledge with team members.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within your scope of responsibility.
Ensure all software documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant parties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java technologies.
Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
Experience with front-end technologies including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred).
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
