What You'll Do We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us build and evolve our distributed and scalable products.
We are looking for a well-rounded software development engineer to work remotely with experience delivering software at scale in an Agile environment.
You will be reporting to Sr.
Manager, Software Engineering.Primary responsibilities:Work with Scrum team members to design and test cloud-based software applications.Participate as a scrum member, estimating and evaluating existing stories, and writing new stories.You will be an important participant in creating a Quality First, Zero Defects culture.
Promote Shift Left approach.You will develop and deliver enhancements to the existing codebase by creating well-documented, modular, and testable code.Review design specifications and create a technical design document.You will perform code review with peers.Define scopes of work across multiple components and technologies.Work on more strategic programmes often spanning more than 1 quarter of development effort.Lead efforts to sub-divide vague requirements into applicable scopes of work for yourself and others for single and multi-component systems/changes.What You'll Need To Be Successful Must Haves:Four years bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a software development role.Experience in one of the front-end development frameworks e.g.
ReactJS, Angular, Ember.Experience in Node.js.Exposure to Cloud technologies.Basic knowledge to build CI/CD pipeline.Other characteristics:Experience with data structures and algorithms.Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns to provide solutions with simplistic design.Experience in any relational database management system, e.g.
