General Accounting Consolidation Manager
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
- Establish and provide to all In country finance Teams a 'high level' closing calendar for specific Camso activities aligned with Michelin group closing calendar.
- Coordinate with local teams and Michelin Central Team for closing process changes and/or special processes (mid-year and year-end process).
- Follow-up with local finance teams if a risk is identified to not meet an important Michelin group deadline.
- Define Chart of Account mapping solutions and (when required) coordinate local ERP changes with local finance teams to meet statutory reporting requirements (Michelin Central Team) and management reporting requirements (various stakeholders ,Line OF Business)
- Maintain Consolidation mapping between Camso Statutory reporting tools and Michelin consolidation tool (SURF) in order to meet stakeholder reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with CBS Colombo and all beyond road local finance teams for special reporting requirements (mainly mid-year and year-end reporting) or reporting changes according to 'Doc de base' and Michelin Central Team requirements.
- Provide to all Camso entities an updated CamSURF tool few days before closing.
- Provide technical support to all Camso local finance teams for central reporting tools (FDM, HFM Camso, CamSURF, MySURF, SURF). Coordinate with Michelin experts when required.
- Be the Camso mapping reference and central point of contact for any requests linked with financial statement & COA mapping and reporting.
- Involve in MySURF transition as Camso mapping expert.
- Be a proactive as a single-entry point to the consolidation team for all accounting topics raised by the legal (Regions) and business entities
- Partner with Global shared services team in developing (simplification, efficiency, new needs,) the Record to Report process
EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Holding a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University;
- Being Fully qualified in CA (SL ) Or CIMA (UK)/ ACCA (UK)
- 6- 10 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in reporting & Consolidation
- Good IFRS knowledge
- Ability to work in different Shifts (UK/USA) will be a added advantage;
- Experience in ERP system, preferably in SAP (FI, MM) or any other ERP system is preferred;
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and power point presentation;
- Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills;
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage various work assignments in a fast paced environment.
