General Manager

Our client is an environmental solutions company expanding its operations in Brazil.
They are currently looking for a General Manager who will lead and oversee all aspects of the business, driving growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.
This role involves strategic decision-making to enhance the company's presence in Brazil while adhering to local regulations and delivering high-quality environmental consulting services.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, expanding market share.
Identify new business development opportunities and work to expand the client base aligning with business goals.
Oversee the P&L statement, ensuring financial health and stability by carefully managing budgets Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Act as the company's representative at industry forums, conferences, and events Travel as needed to engage with clients and oversee operational activities Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory.
Proven track record in operations and sales, with experience in the environmental or related industries preferred.
Experience serving clients within the pulp & paper, chemicals, and/or waste management sectors.
Experience managing P&L in entrepreneurial settings.
Strong background leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration.
Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
High-energy, adaptable, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced level of English is desirable.
Spanish proficiency is a plus.
