About the role The Imp & Exp Manager is responsible of leading the COMEX Brazilian and South Cone team designing the short, mid and long-term strategy to create an efficient import and export good process. The Imp & Exp manager is responsible of the planning and execution of the actions linked to the Product Import and Exports strategy, ensuring the efficient importation product supply coming from external suppliers or Kerry´s affiliates and ensure the timely and efficient exploration product supply to our external customers or affiliates (Finished goods or Raw materials). What would you do? This role is accountable for the entire customs process related to importing and exporting of goods requiring import or export clearance, including the check of supplier documentation, the completion of formalities, dealing with and supporting the local custom broker, carriers/ haulers and the local Material Call off function. This position is commonly the Brazilian, Argentinian, Paraguayan, Uruguayan, Chilean and Bolivian legal representative so the Imp & Export manager should sign all import and export request Drive all negotiation, discussions, and communication with our external customs agents within the different cross border points at a national level (for imports and exports operations) Evaluate and propose the annual international logistics budget The Imp & Exp manager needs to ensure all the compliance of the regulatory rules and governance on regard the imports and exports operations. Ensure import and export process not only for Finished goods, raw materials but also for plant equipment, testing materials, spare parts etc. Shared accountability for OTIF to request, in partnership with Supply Directors, Customer Care and logistics. What will you need to be successful? Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, International business, Engineering, Operations, Business management and/or a related field 5-7 years of foreign trade experience in food industry Important to have a background on International or National Logistics, good knowledge of the international import and export trade terms (INCOTERMS, etc.) Advanced level of English and Spanish SAP management Personnel management About Kerry Kerry is the world's leading taste and nutrition company for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
