About the role This role reports to the Head of Legal and supports the Brazilian DPO. The responsibilities involve supporting business areas and the global data privacy team.
This person will support our D&T (IT), Business Integrity, HR and Facilities areas as a business partner, and handle operational data privacy matters in the market. As a business partner, they will assist the DPO with any requests from the global DP Team and the Brazilian authorities regarding local Data Privacy Legislation.
Responsibilities Maintain Diageo's global guidance regarding Data Privacy, tailored to comply with LGPD requirements. Handle all demands regarding data privacy sent by consumers and employees. Provide internal counseling on data privacy, including reviewing documents and contracts. Guide employees, vendors, and 3rd parties on national data privacy requirements. Work with the DPO to build a multifunctional team. Manage data privacy controls. Participate in internal and external audits. Act as a business partner in Compliance (Business Integrity), Technology (D&T), HR and Facilities areas. Assist in multifunctional projects related to our business strategies.
