Our 114,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.What we will do?The Latin America & Canada (LAC) Systems Product Manager is responsible for setting the area strategic direction and tactical implementation of activities within the Diagnostics Division, mainly but not strictly to our Systems for immunoassays, clinical chemistry, and hematology.This is a position exclusive for people with disability. This product champion is the focal point for developing marketing plans and activities that drive products to our customers in a manner that highlights differentiation and value. This role is instrumental in identifying customers and market needs/wants, market knowledge and dynamics, planning, execution, and achieving business objectives. It is responsible for product launch and overall product life through and including product discontinuation. The champion has a proven ability to work with high-performing teams in a cross-functional organization in a fast-paced and competitive environment.Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the demand for his/her product in a customer-centric manner (exemplified by the high satisfaction of needs and, therefore, appropriately differentiated and adding value).Support the commercial organizations in achieving Plan/Update objectives.Developing and overseeing the marketing plan's execution, including the definition and segmentation of the market, targeting and positioning, and all aspects of the marketing mix (product, place/distribution, price, and integrated marketing/promotion).Competition and Positioning: Thoroughly understand competitive offerings and provide commercial organizations with appropriate positioning and tools to differentiate product(s) versus the competition in a profitable manner that adds value to the customer.Internal Communication: Responsible for creating a clear communication line between Country, Area, and Global Marketing and all other disciplines involved with the products.External Communication: Interact with consultants, marketing research firms, ad agencies, other vendors, and customers to manage and grow the business profitably while maintaining a customer focus woven throughout all activities.Provide training: Ensure the country marketing and commercial teams are knowledgeable about the systems, features, product differentiation, updates, tools, among others, by providing continuous training to keep the country teams informed.Ensures systems launch and post-launch success through commercial organizations and on-market teams.
