Position Overview: Are you passionate about agriculture and driven to excel in seed production? We are seeking a highly skilled Seed Production Manager to lead our dynamic LATAM team. This role is pivotal in planning and managing seed production activities while ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Roles and Responsibilities: Plan and Managing Seed Production Activities: Develop comprehensive production plans, manage planting schedules, oversee crop care, and coordinate harvesting activities, to guarantee seed availability. Monitor KPIs: Establish key performance indicators to measure production efficiency, yield, and quality. Regularly evaluate performance against these metrics to drive continuous improvement. Enforce Rules and Regulations: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and agricultural regulations to maintain operational integrity. Leadership: Lead and motivate a LATAM team. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to optimize team performance. Data Management and Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in seed production or related agricultural fields. Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field. Knowledge of Phytopathology and Crop Protection specific to vegetables. Proficiency in data management and analysis. Advanced English proficiency required. Willingness to travel as needed to oversee production sites and engage with stakeholders.
