We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join ourteam as a Product Manager. In this role, you will manage the softwaredevelopment process in collaboration with the engineering and design teamsfor Pet Loyalty's animal shelter software product, ShelterBuddy. Theideal candidate will be able to analyze customer problems and lead amulti-discipline team to define, develop, release, and then iterate productimprovements.Seek more information on: https://www.petloyalty.co/Main Responsibilities:Facilitate sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectivemeetings.Gather and analyze customer requirements and translate them intoengineering tasks.Collaborate with the UX team on new feature designs.Guides team in estimating practices and facilitates software projectestimates.Drive team iteration execution communicates with management andstakeholders and protects the team from the uncontrolled injection of work(changes are evaluated/intentional)Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirementsto keep operations running at a high performance.Able to do post-mortem and root cause analysis to help teamscontinuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivityDefine and implement improvement stories and engineering tasks toincrease the velocity and quality of the product.Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitateflow.Create and maintain team data in project management software (i.e.,JIRA, Confluence, etc.) to support estimates and execution.Presents high-level project readouts for leadershipSupports head of product with intra-team dynamics concerning prioritiesand scopeManage other special projects as assigned.Collaborate with the Customer Success team and provide feedback oncustomer enhancement requests.Facilitate customer feedback sessions to gather and summarize feedbackon software mockups and new product features.To gather insights and feedback and execute product improvement ideas,utilize various tools, including Jira, Confluence, Slack, Hubspot, Loom,Hotjar, and others.QualificationsPrevious experience in product or project management roles.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Whimsical, Loomand Hotjar.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technicalinformation in an accessible manner.Empathetic and customer-focused attitude with a commitment to improvingcustomer satisfaction of all PetLoyalty software products.Bonus: Experience working in an animal shelter or within the field ofanimal welfare.Benefits:Competitive salaryFlexible work hoursOpportunities for professional development and growthEducation: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but notrequired.If you are passionate about software development, possessexcellent communication skills, and are interested in animal welfare, weencourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
