About the role Maintain high compliance within the sub-region/EUM ensuring all products that go out the door are safe and to specification. Drive continuous improvement by overseeing confident execution in plant of Kerry global standards for food safety and quality.
What would you do?
Establishing the vision, leadership, and ownership of the Sub-regional/EUM Food Safety & Quality platform in alignment with the Regional & Global platforms to drive world class performance
Achieve continuously improving results, in the areas of customer complaints, micro and environmental issues, product quality, GMP / fabrication and adherence to procedures, within all plant operations in the EUM/sub-region.
Responsible for communicating and executing the FSQ strategic initiatives within assigned sub-region.
Deliver FSQ training and education in support of policies and / or initiatives where applicable within the assigned business unit.
Design and document procedures for adherence to FSQ policies and local regulations. Work with sites to review and revise on a periodic basis.
Assure compliance to internal FSQ policies and applicable local regulations through site visits, process reviews, and development of corrective actions with site management.
Monitor and interpret FSQ regulatory changes and develop strategies for implementation.
What will you need to be successful?
BSc/MS degree from an accredited institution in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, or rother related science discipline. Higher degrees advantageous.
8+ years of experience in food safety in food and beverage industry
Increase focus and understanding of Customer quality expectations.
Develop and deploy programs to leverage data and apply statistical analysis to improve product quality • Continued implementation of digital innovation to solve problems in priority areas.
Continue evolution to use of more leading metrics.
Ability to lead, delegate, and influence cross-functional teams and strategies at multi levels within the organization.
Experience in Quality systems (RCA / CAPA).
Advanced in Spanish and English
