.FINANCIAL MANAGERSão Paulo ou Rio de JaneiroContracting company AcoemFluent English is essentialPosition SummaryThe position of Financial Manager will be based in Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and will oversee the Finance team for Hiring company Brazil and will manage a team of around 10 people (finance analyst, finance assistants, importation assistant, purchasing department) The position will directly report to the Country Manager of Hiring company Brazil and functionally to the Hiring company Group Financial Officer based at our HQ in Lyon (France).The Financial Manager will supervise the Finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, compliance with accounting regulations, and optimization of fiscal processes for enhanced financial health of the organization. He / She will provide recommendations and will work closely with the Country Manager and the Group Finance team at Headquarter level to develop strategic plans and budgeting. He / She will be responsible for all financial reporting and taxes and will effectively communicate with stakeholders, banks, insurance companies, providers, law firms, key customers and suppliers. Objectives of this roleTake responsibility for all cash management, insurance programs, budgeting, financial reporting, purchasing process and help drive the company's financial strategy in elation with the group strategy.In a context of reorganization and transformation within an international multi-cultural group, develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong project coordination, cross-team communications and workflows.In collaboration with the Country Manager, manage and coordinate all the dministrative operations of the subsidiaries. Education & Experience> Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MA or MBA preferred).> Industry experience> 4 to 5 years' experience in a Big 4 or Tier 2 audit firm.> Over 5 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position.> Experience in partnering with an executive team.> Professional accountingdesignation required (CPA or CMA).Main responsibilities> Oversees and directs budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, accounting, audit, tax,insurance/risk management, and in-house legal issues.> Maintains the integrityof the monthly / quarterly / annual accounting processes, accuracyand reporting in compliance with GAAP.
