About the position Join our global accounting team, where you'll be responsible for managing two companies (U.S Focused) from Cyncly. Duties and Responsibilities Participate in the month end close including, preparing journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and preparing management reports Create revenue recognition plans for contracts of newly acquired business ensuring their compliance with IFRS 15. Monitor revenue recognition, contract assets and customer advances Create month over month variance analysis, investigating material variances, and presenting explanations to management in a clear concise format Maintain intercompany structure and accounting records. Assist in developing and maintaining a system to ensure the integrity of inter-company balances between legal entities. Participate in the year end audit of financials statements including drafting note disclosures, obtaining audit support, and responding to auditor inquiries. Prepare and post complex journal entries, including acquisitions, leases under IFRS 16, inter-company loans in a multi-currency, multi-country environment Assist in coordinating with various stakeholder groups across the platform, such as tax, treasury and FP&A Support other business areas with auxiliary controls, reporting and financial activities. Support in multiple ad-hoc tasks, including creating new reports, reconciliations, and processes to enhance the integrity of financial information Profile Sought CRC designation Solid experience in a similar role, technology industry is an asset Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15 Experience working with an ERP, Netsuite is an asset Excellent mastery of the English language, both spoken and written Continuous improvement approach Thoroughness and attention to detail Autonomy, leadership and strong analytical skills Team player What we offer: A culture that values innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
