**Short description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the execution of internal controls discipline and operational excellence within GB GM AML, including but not limited to:

- Onboarding and Refresh processes,
- Reporting on client population, metrics, local requirements and governance routines,
- First line CDD/KYC procedure execution and risk management,
- Interaction with Global Financial Crimes team, the AML Enterprise Process Owners, peers in other regions, and Front Line Units representative with the objective of facilitating communication, removing constrains and reaching common understanding of global and local requirements;
- Management oversight of Client Outreach personnel based in country and abroad;
- Process redesign, volume efficiency analysis;
- Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions promoting a motivated environment;
- Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward;
- Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner;
- Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change;
- Drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base;

**Core skills and requirements**:

- 5+ years of AML, Business Controls, Operational Risk, Process Design, Audit or related experience
- Ability to solve complex problems through root cause analysis, management by fact and collaboration across a wide constituency
- Ability to interpret Financial Crimes standards and translate into implementable plans for GB GM LOB in countries of coverage.
- Solutions oriented-Agility to adjust, react with optimism and professionalism by utilizing critical thinking skills / business acumen and resources to make sound business decisions and reduce risk
- Ability to interact and influence across broad audiences in multiple locations, including challenging status quo and pushing for change towards excellence
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Process design skills, data-management and analysis using advanced Excel and BI tools
- Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish will be a plus
