Reporting to the Global Procurement Head, the Global Procurement Supplier Development & Intelligence Manager must be located in São Paulo, Brazil, and will be responsible to lead new procurement governance model implementation, coordinate collaborative workshops with business for process optimization, lead all s ystems initiatives linked to Procurement processes , planning, control and Intelligence activities , supplier development , with main focus of driving procurement team to deliver cost reduction/optimization, supply assurance, efficiency and productivity increase, including process optimization.
The role is of a complex nature involving managing a wide range of activities and different internal stakeholders (from various cultures), clients and external organizations (suppliers, associations and entities).
Scopes of work includes managing and developing a team of people to guarantee the leadership and guidance of all processes and activities, and close relationship with all stakeholders, clients, external organizations, suppliers and Global Procurement Team.
Responsibilities: Lead Procurement transformation projects, including activities and processes integration, new processes, systems and structure implementation and definition of new planning and intelligence area scope.
Relationship with external organizations such as suppliers, associations and entities, searching for innovation opportunities, best practices, cost optimization opportunities, knowledge sharing and risk anticipation.
Develop and lead suppliers' development, performance, financial/breakage risk analysis, monitoring and control, focus on proactivity and quality control management.
Manage Planning and Intelligence activities, including procurement strategic planning, process implementation/optimization, controls, reports, market intelligence studies for critical categories.
Drive the alignment between business strategy and procurement strategy.
Lead all systems initiatives linked to Procurement processes.
Key Result Areas: (Key Performance Indicators) • Project Management – Leadership of various procurement projects, capture all opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
Design of a new organizational structure for the planning and intelligence department that fits both global requirements and local needs.
Implement global processes by establishing a link with the headquarters.
• External Relationship – Lead procurement relationship with suppliers and external associations/entities; focus on best practices and knowledge share searching for optimization/cost opportunities.
• Business / Market Challenges - Drive category leaders to develop capabilities and apply tools to ensure supply coverage, reduce cost and optimize processes through market intelligence studies, suppliers' performance and regional suppliers risk analysis, and supplier development processes.
• Team Management and Supplier Development – Manage communication and relationships between a multi-cultural team and the company' various stakeholders as well supplier relationship management.
• Communication – Guaranteeing correct alignment with all counterparts in other countries and internal team/clients.
• Process Governance – Lead Procurement team in main strategic initiatives.
Education, experience, skills: Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate, in Latin America institutions, in engineering, business administration or purchasing.
English Spanish Portuguese Experience Experience in purchasing/procurement in an international environment/with local and international suppliers.
Experience in Latin-American regulations and market Experience in procurement team management.
Experience in category management and/or corporate procurement.
Experience in strategic sourcing and definition.
Experience In Master Data management, PDM and PDS.
Experience in SAP and Coupa.
