About the Role
Our Global Trade function is composed of experts across regions, focused on ensuring Customs & Export Control & Sanctions (ECS) compliance in close cooperation with Digital Trade Services.
As a Global Trade Functional & Process Design Manager, you will work on designing, executing, and monitoring global trade projects to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customs performance.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to process development, lead improvement initiatives, and positively impact cross-functional collaboration and operational consistency.
You will be accountable for:
Manage and oversee Global Trade project lifecycles, including planning, organizing, monitoring, and collaborating on testing and deployment with partners.
Develop and implement Global Trade IT systems, ensuring integration with central services, and design transactional processes to support cost savings, including duty reductions.
Optimize ECS processes, Export and Import customs declaration processes, manage change requests, and ensure alignment with Solvay's strategic initiatives in Global Trade.
Maintain and update process documentation (e.g., process maps, task descriptions) and lead process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology to streamline workflows.
Support country customs & ECS with process rollouts, coordinate cross-functional cooperation, and represent regional customs needs in global projects to secure regulatory compliance and knowledge sharing.
We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working model.
About You
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or related fields.
Experience in managing the delivery, configuration, integration with other platforms, migration and rollout into operations of large scale IT distributed systems with multiple stakeholders, preferably related to Customs.
High interest in the Customs and Trade area and ideally gained some experience in the field.
Experience in Supply chain and/or Export/Import.
Experience in SAP is a plus, esp GTS and master data.
Experience in project management is a must.
Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) related work is a plus.
Experience in developing and delivery of training.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with international stakeholders.
Proficiency in business applications such as SAP (OTC Functions, GTS, master data) and other IT tools (VBA, SQL, Access, Excel, Qlikview/Qliksense, SharePoint).
Advanced knowledge in Customs and Foreign Trade and experience with Project Management tools.
Good Customs and Foreign Trade knowledge.
Good Supply Chain Operations knowledge.
Good knowledge in Export/Import Operations.
Fluent English is mandatory.

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.
While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 160.800,00 to R$ 201.000,00 your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
