Go Senior Developer

Macher Tecnologia is recruiting two Backend Developers (Go) with C# experience, to support one of its clients developing software technologies for the transportation industry. As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have. The selected professional will join us at our Rio de Janeiro office, on a remote setting, or at Porto Alegre. Only candidates from these locations will be considered. As a Backend Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that drive the Mobile Video Applications for Transit. Your expertise will ensure scalability, performance, and security, allowing our client to deliver exceptional user experiences to its customers. Responsibilities: • Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products. • Continuously improve our development process and code base • Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes. • Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. • Diagnose and resolve product related customer issues. Required Qualifications (Mandatory): • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent • Experience: Relevant professional software development experience, delivering critical solutions on complex environments • English - Conversational level, to interact with peers globally Skills: • Deep knowledge of least one of the programming languages: GoLang, C# • Proven experience in database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database schema design • Experience with transport protocols such as SFTP, HTTPS and working in a micro services architecture • Good understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 • Experience in cloud tools and technologies such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes. • Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with: • Building video management and streaming applications • Big data and analytics platforms, AI/ML • Experience working networking protocols and Wi-Fi, Cellular communication technologies. • Expertise in designing and implementing application monitoring and observability solutions. • Exposure to Agile and Traditional project management techniques What we offer? • Remote position with eventual office gathering in Caxias do Sul, Porto Alegre or Rio de Janeiro • Health insurance (Sul América) with co-participation • Company Life-Insurance • Meal allowance or Supermarket Allowance
