We are dedicated to supporting the business from a legal standpoint throughout Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.Our main responsibility is to provide legal support to the business, defining the best strategy and applying the knowledge and experience to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, make risk assessments, support governance and decision-makers, draft, review, and negotiate agreements, and prevent new disputes and litigation towards the company.
We also work closely with internal clients around the world to provide consultancy, legal operations, and data analytics.
At Ericsson, we offer a great opportunity and environment for a curious, adventurous, and results-oriented lawyer to continue to grow and develop.Reporting to the Legal Manager, the person will be responsible for providing legal support to the areas of Sourcing, Real Estate, Marketing/Communications, and R&D.
Review and negotiation of contracts and other documents with suppliers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.
Support to the litigation area, preparation of meetings, records, and projects aiming to optimize legal support.
You'll also be encouraged to independently support internal clients across South Latam, as well as mentor and support other team members.
Equally significant, you will demonstrate integrity and business acumen and will consider the interest of the Ericsson Group as a whole.What you will do:Manage law firms and external counsels;Use data to seek continuous efficiency and preventive measures;Provide highly efficient and quality legal support throughout Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay, including legal advice and counseling;Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and other legal documents, including a variety of transactions with internal customers and partners, such as distribution, resale, alliance, and other strategic relationship agreements;Work with cross-functional teams to provide the best proposals for the matters under your responsibility.Support compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and guidelines.Provide legal training and legal advice to employees at all levels.The skills you bring:Degree in Law and/or Legal Qualification;Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements;Recognized experience, skills, and competence to handle legal matters independently;Ability to deal with any counterparty in negotiations and otherwise, and support and work with senior managers;Familiarity and experience using a contract lifecycle management system;Interest and understanding of business strategies and objectives, along with proven financial knowledge and understanding;Integrity, accountability, analytical skills, creativity, and commitment.
