What you will do We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Manager to oversee Product Documentation and Simulation department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trucks and application in Latina America, good understand on product development processes and possess strong leadership abilities to guide our team through all stages of product documentation and development. This role is critical to our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement within our product line.
What will you do? The Product Documentation and Simulation team is overall accountable to secure a good engineering documentation of the product, data analytics, and perform CAE Simulations to support the technical development of the products.
You will function as the bridge between Vehicle Engineering and downstream activities with the other cross-functional areas that needs Vehicle Documentation (Manufacturing, Testing, Aftermarket, Purchasing …).
Your main activities would be: Lead the CAE Simulation team in the development and execution of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Complete Vehicle Model (CVM), 1D Analysis among others. Oversee the creation of product documentation and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure feasibility. Support the Vehicle Engineering team with Data Science and Analysis to understand the trucks behavior in applications and support development of new solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and budgets. Manage the execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Recruit, develop, and mentor team members to build a high-performing organization. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and communication. Who are you? Understanding of product development processes. Product and market knowledge for the Latin America. Understanding of customer applications and requirements. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams, drive for results, set priorities and build trust. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in a people management role. Business acumen and learn on the fly.
Requirements: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
