What you will be doing: Provide leadership, training and guidance with the direction of the Guest Service Manager to the Bellpersons to ensure smooth daily operation of the Guest Services department while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceHandle guest concerns promptly and effectivelyAttend regular departmental meetingsEnsure inter-departmental communication and cooperationEnsure that the operational budget is adhered to and all costs are controlledOversee training and performance management of the BellpersonsServe as a liaison for guests by providing information relating to all aspects of the hotelMaintain knowledge of the hotel's emergency proceduresEnsure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesCarry out any other tasks as assignedQualifications
Your skillset includes: Previous leadership experience in a similar environment will be an assetMust possess outstanding guest service skills, including professional verbal communication skillsGood computer literacy (experience using Property Manager System preferred, and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel)Self-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisionsDemonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain high service levels under pressureAbility to consistently stand and walk throughout shiftAdditional Information
