Preferred location is near Sao Paulo, other locations in Brazil may be considered. The role will require occasional travel as necessary, primarily to the US.Position SummaryAs Rimini Street continues to evolve and scale toward the level of $1B/year in revenue, the CEO is seeking a GVP, Rimini Street Labs, Brazil, to lead the service delivery operations of our team in Sao Paolo, and to partner with service delivery leaders across the world in a matrix organization to ensure smooth support activities for our global client base.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead our growing team of technical service professionals in Rimini Street Labs, Brazil, located in Sao Paolo. Manage our service delivery operations across the entire Rimini Street offering portfolio.Lead our team of technical service professionals to ensure we have engaged and highly performing employees, compliant and efficient global operations, and the highest standards of financial management to meet current and future needs of the organization.Partner with service delivery leaders across the world in a matrix organization to ensure smooth support activities for our global client base.Oversee the implementation of consistent, reliable processes that deliver our services with excellence and operational efficiency to consistently produce high client satisfaction.Actively drive the planning and implementation of forward-looking systems and practices to evolve delivery operations over time.Assist in developing strategies and play a key role in the continued growth and scaling of Rimini Street Labs, Brazil across the organization's finance, people-management, and operations functions.Coordinate across the Operations and Compliance teams to review internal processes and identify and deploy the most efficient methods of running the organization with an eye for risk-mitigation and/or informed risk acceptance. Seek continuous improvement and agility including identifying and implementing new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline use of resources.Serve as a trusted business partner to the CEO and Chief Delivery Officer on a wide variety of topics including delivery, financial, talent, and performance management.Carry out all duties with a high degree of personal commitment while modeling ethical behavior. Develop policies and practices to ensure the team adheres to ethical norms and all local and international legal and regulatory requirements.Uphold our strong internal communications principles by maintaining an environment of transparency on all policies and practices. Act as an ambassador both within and outside the organization.Collaborate with Brazil HR leaders and the Senior Leadership Team to help create a culture of growth and innovation. Participate as a thought leader in developing and driving human resource policies that support our values of diversity and inclusion.Professional Experience and QualificationsExperience20+ years' experience in Delivery, Operations and/or Finance roles with 5+ years' experience in complex leadership and management roles. Global management experience through multi-national business strongly desired.Demonstrated experience managing IT operations at a corporate or enterprise level for a parent company with annual revenue of at least $250M/year.Demonstrated experience in scaling up service delivery operations is desired.Experience in overseeing organizational financial operations, with an understanding of how to identify financial risk, effectively manage finance professionals, and ensure high standards of financial management and compliance across the organization.Understanding of global business and development trends, with an ability to anticipate future consequences of trends and build them into long-term planning.Experience overseeing diverse compliance requirements, including government, regulatory and contracts.Experience with risk management and a track recording of successfully managing risk across a complex operating environment (specific experience doing this in a global setting preferred).Experience in the Oracle, SAP and VMware marketplaces desirable.Qualifications and SkillsAbility to lead, develop, and inspire a team of professionals in a high growth, rapidly changing environment.Ability to understand business goals as well as design and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of people within the company.A strong solution focus, comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables and the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.Strong communication skills, experience working with remote or highly dispersed teams, and a spirit of teamwork are essential to thrive within this structure.Ability to establish cultural competency in partnering with racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse groups.Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and a track record of successful use or incorporation of such tools in daily decision-making.Ability to foster a creative, professional, and open management culture that empowers employees to fulfill their potential and encourages innovative thinking.
