We are looking for a Head of Business Development and Sales for Brazil that will join our exciting growth journey!
Your role: You will be responsible for the Saab Brazil BD function (including our Sales team and a support business team), and act as Point of Contact for the BD function in the LATAM region.
You will be reporting to the Managing Director in Brazil with a dotted line to the deputy Head Saab Group Business Development.
As a member of the Saab Brazil management team, you will address and contribute to all levels of decision-making, ranging from a strategic outlook in country and parts of the region, market status and a proactive handling of the sales funnel.
Another focus area is to educate, support and follow up on general BD work and tools (CRM) as well as the Saab Winning Business process.
You will also be member of the Group BD team together with other GBD Country Managers around the world.
You will work closely with Saab BA/BU's M&S units doing BD work for Saab's entire portfolio, mainly in Brazil, but also support other selected countries in the region.
You will also work with Group functions such as Comms, Strategy and Government Affairs, Finance, Human Resources and ICT.
This is also local functions that you will interact with on a daily basis.
Your leadership and role will support the overall growth and transformation that the Saab Brazil management team is committed to work on, in order to facilitate the overall progress of the local organization.
In the Saab Brazil management team, all members contribute with their individual experiences and skills to create an effective and dynamic environment.
You are expected not only to work with your individual area of responsibility, being a member of the management team also means that you interact and contribute to other units' challenges and development.
As the BD function is going through a change, structured WoW and KPI: s will be of the outmost importance to define.
Your leadership through this change process will be essential for the function to reach its objectives.
Your main tasks will be: Identify, monitor and create new business opportunities in Brazil and the LATAM region Respond to M&S/BD inquiries/questions related to LATAM region Consolidating the total order intake for the region, handshake and define the LTOIP Provide solid input to the financial- and strategic business plans Responsibility for order intake corresponding to the expectations in the business plan Defining market strategies and capture strategies for existing and new products Responsibility for providing market input and analysis to GBD/ BA /BU and local operations in order to influence market strategies and product road maps Be the Decision Maker in Winning Business Process according to delegation of authority Create and maintain good relationship with customers, partners and stakeholders and keep an updated stake holder mapping – proactively shared with the rest of the organization Coordinating/providing input to strategy, offset, Gov relations, commercial and comms functions in LATAM region Integrating offset aspects to the LATAM M&S/BD work and processes Plan and coordinate marketing events and demos Lead and coordinate support/after sales business Support the bid team function Lead local Business Council meetings and other BD related forums Line manager responsibilities for the local BD team Monthly reporting on the overall business situation to Brazil MD and GBD Your profile: You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and have the ability to empower employees.
