**About the role**
As the Head of Data at Improvado, you'll hold a pivotal position, shaping our data infrastructure, strategy, and utilization. You'll lead a talented team, driving the design of robust data models, optimizing processes, and ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and reliability of data across the organization.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of efficient data models, leveraging methodologies like Kimball.
- Contribute to building a roadmap, quality, and R&D processes for an AI Assistant—an AI agent capable of constructing data pipelines and analyzing data (Chain of Thoughts, RLHF, Q-Learning).
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of data catalogs for easy accessibility and comprehension.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, tools, and best practices in data management.
- Mentor and guide the data team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Participate in the company's AI product strategy.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in data modeling, architecture, and management.
- Expertise in utilizing DWH modeling techniques such as Kimball, Data Vault, etc.
- Strong knowledge of data catalogs and their business implementation.
- Hands-on experience with leading database technologies, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Able to work in the US time zone (PST, CST, or EST.)
**Nice to Have**:
- Experience in ML/AI data pipelines.
- A background in mathematics, mathematical statistics, or data science.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with marketing analytics, especially marketing attribution.
- Expertise in Churn or Customer Fit prediction.
- Experience working with Agents, RLHF, Q Learning.
