As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive data strategy that supports our business objectives and enhances our gaming offerings. You will lead a team of talented data engineers and analysts, ensuring the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of data. This role requires a combination of strategic vision and hands-on expertise to optimize our data infrastructure, drive insights, and support decision-making across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a robust data strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
Define data governance policies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities for data-driven innovation and improvement.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the data team.
Provide guidance on best practices for data architecture, data management, and analytics.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure.
Ensure efficient data collection, storage, and processing to support analytical and operational needs.
Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and big data technologies.
Act as the primary point of contact for data-related matters, both internally and externally.
Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Work closely with the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience (4+ years) in a data leadership role, preferably within the iGaming or tech industry.
Strong technical expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
Hands-on experience with data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark).
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data strategies that drive business growth.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in AWS products.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
