Our industry-scale plants use green instead of traditional grey hydrogen, revolutionising one of the world's most emission-intensive industries.
Brazil is a strategic market to Atlas Agro and we plan to build several green nitrogen fertiliser plants in the country over the next few years. We seek an experienced and visionary sales executive to lead our agronomical development, sales and commercial partnership activities.
Role Summary
: As the Head of Sales for Brazil, you will be responsible for developing long-term contracts with agricultural customers. You also will be the key knowledge provider for content related to agronomy in general and nitrogen fertilisers in particular for the country. Your focus will be building a case for nitrate premium in Brazil and persuading partners and customers of the benefits of Atlas Agro's green nitrates over other nitrogen sources (urea, ammonium sulphate, etc) and negotiate long-term contracts with agricultural customers.
Key Responsibilities
:
Agronomical Leadership
: Develop a network of academics and consultants to promote nitrate benefits and premiums versus urea to customers. Develop and coordinate trials to demonstrate nitrate benefits. Support with agronomical knowledge across main nitrogen-consuming crops to develop business cases for plants across Brazil.
Deal Negotiation and Closure
: Lead negotiations with key customers, persuading them of nitrate benefits versus urea and demonstrating exceptional negotiation skills to close deals effectively and secure nitrate premiums.
Sustainability Champion
: Advocate for sustainable agricultural practices and the adoption of green nitrogen fertilisers, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
Qualifications
:
Master's degree in Agronomy or Agriculture from a leading university
Proven track record in sales in agriculture or fertilisers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional leadership, independence, and team management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across Brazil.
Fluent in Portuguese, excellent knowledge of English is a plus
Location is flexible but preferable in Sao Paulo or Minas Gerais states.
