Job Summary The Head of Sales (SVP) for Latin America will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion across the region. This strategic leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and fostering a high-performance sales team. The SVP will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and enhance market presence.
Job Purpose The Head of Sales has direct accountability for the development of strategies, objectives, and plans to grow ACI's sales and revenue for assigned regions and segment(s) of the business. The Head of Sales is expected to build a market segment aligned, results-oriented sales and account management organization that is best in class as measured by sales & revenue growth, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This position also champions an "Everyone Sells ACI" mindset for the market segment, so motivating across the organization is critical to success.
A key responsibility is collaborating with Sales Operations in designing & maintaining an efficient end-to-end sales and account management process. This includes managing tools, workflow, roles and responsibilities. Leadership of key operating mechanisms includes participation in regular ELT Sales Call, Bi-Monthly Internal Customer reviews, Forecasting Cadence, and active participation in the Annual Strategic and Operating Plan Meetings. Additionally, the role has accountability for collaborating with Sales Operations and Human Resources in the design of a compensation structure aligned with ACI's business model and pay-for-performance philosophy.
The Head of Sales will also play a key role in representing ACI at key Industry Events. The position represents ACI both internally as well as in the marketplace. Partnerships with Product Management, Marketing, P&L Management and Implementation Services are critical to success. It is expected that the position is managing and reporting on a scorecard of metrics shared between the organizations. Of equal importance is highly integrated planning and forecasting processes, with an emphasis on attaining or exceeding sales objectives and accurate and transparent forecasting.
Additionally, this senior leadership role includes responsibility for objectively assessing its sales management team on an ongoing basis, ensuring the appropriate alignment and flow of business processes and necessitating managerial accountability. Also key is the ability to recruit, develop, motivate, retain and reward a high-performance management team that can be measured by a set of predetermined goals. The management team must be given the opportunity to scale to meet the significant growth produced both organically and inorganically. The team must be able to operate within ACI on a best-in-class (BIC) basis with the requisite financial, communication and group leadership skillset. Therefore, the ability to lead across the ACI organization is critical.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Latin America, aligning with overall corporate goals.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.Set ambitious revenue targets and create actionable plans to achieve them.Team Leadership:Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across multiple countries within Latin America.Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity.Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development to sales managers and representatives.Client Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Collaborate with the executive team to understand client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.Sales Operations and Execution:Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics.Monitor sales KPIs, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed.Drive efficient and effective sales processes.Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, product launches, and pricing decisions.Champion a collaborative and results-oriented approach.Market Expansion and Business Development:Identify new market segments, channels, and partnership opportunities.Evaluate potential acquisitions or joint ventures to enhance market presence.Drive business development initiatives to expand the company's footprint.Perform other duties as assigned.Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Master's degree, preferably MBA, or equivalent.Fifteen years of relevant business management experience in financial technology.Strong understanding of the regional market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory landscape.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to drive revenue growth and achieve targets.Experience managing remote teams and working in a matrix organization.
