The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team covering Latin America across a range of topics and across the story cycle.About The RoleAs a Headline News Reporter, Latam, you will:Focus much of your time on monitoring and gathering news across a range of sources, mainly in Portuguese, for developments in regulatory, economic, corporate, commodities and energy. This involves applying news judgment to extract the relevant information from company and government statements, speeches, tweets and TV broadcasts.Report and write news headlines and stories clearly, accurately and quickly under time pressure to deliver the news first to our readers.Work with our network of colleagues in Brazil and other parts of Latin America across multiple areas of coverage.About YouYou're a fit for the role of Headline News Reporter, Latam, if you:Have very strong news judgment.Can write with speed, clarity, accuracy and freedom from bias.Thrive working under pressure in a very fast-paced environment and can work early and late shifts.Have fluent or native English and Portuguese.
