Responsibilities

We are now looking for a talented individual to expand our implementation and projects team to deliver solutions and provide application support in the South America region. With your HSE background, you will build on your existing skills while becoming an expert in our control of work solutions and services and delivering successful projects.

You will act as a role model for all matters concerning health, safety and environmental issues and review HSE incidents and near misses. You will identify corrective and preventative actions via knowledge fairs and workshops, networking, communities of practice etc., which can be captured within our knowledge base.

Customer consultancy and configuration services:

You will attend and host meetings and workshops with customers to discuss their requirements and maintain a good awareness of the risk profile. You'll write, review, and collaborate on design specifications to provide customized, configurable solutions that implement control of work workflows to drive risk reduction and performance improvement.

Knowledge Management:At the core of the solution is a knowledge base of safety and control of work standards. Part of your role will be to review, research, and update this knowledge base on a routine basis with information from industry bodies and best practices applied by different industries and communicate this information to users of the software.

Training course delivery:A vital phase of every project is the onboarding of new users of the system. You will also assist in the process of implementing software solutions that form part of the critical management systems for HSE by providing training services.

Customer relationships:Through the helpdesk, existing customers have a direct line to communicate with the team to ask for advice and request feedback on questions and best practice use of our solution. You will be an integral member of the team and assist with setting up an action plan to resolve customer technical problems.

Collaboration:The Implementation Teams work directly with both sales and product development teams, supporting sales activities with client demonstrations and informing the development team of the latest industry trends and customer feedback.

It is essential that you have:You will have a degree in a related discipline, engineering or science, or equivalent experience.Previous experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing or process environmentKnowledge of the application of OHSMS legislation, tools, and techniques.Experience in ensuring sites are working towards site OHSMS and environmental requirementsExperience of Brazilian NR series of standards or equivalent South American regional HSE legislation and standards.Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese(mandatory).A willingness to travel both in South America and globallyYou may be required to visit customer sites outside South America occasionally and, therefore, must work flexibly to meet customer demands.We expect flexible working will be required to communicate with the wider team while your expertise grows.

It is highly desirable that you have:

Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in the implementation, maintenance, and review of safety management systems and safety audits.Experience of regulations such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001 .Membership of IOSH and/or International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM)Certification from a recognized safety body such as IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).Proficiency in programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite and general IT principles.
