The High School Pedagogical Coordinator will be responsible for organizing the segment as a whole and managing both the national curriculum and the IB diploma curriculum, with a focus on final course completion outcomes. The coordinator s role includes ensuring a safe learning environment and providing academic support and preparation for the IBDP and national exams, such as the ENEM and entrance exams. Additionally, the coordinator will collaborate with the College Counselor to assist with the university application processes for international institutions. Qualifications 1. English certificate C1 or above 2. A bachelor s degree in education 3. Previous 3 year experience working as a teacher for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and ENEM 4. Certification as an IB educator or coordinator 5. Strong organizational and leadership skills 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 7. Knowledge of the curriculum and assessment requirements of the IBDP and ENEM 7. Ability to collaborate with teachers, students, and parents 8. Understanding of educational trends and best practices in international education 9. Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively Responsible for planning and guiding teachers and students in curriculum development through the Maple Bear platform powered by AZ, as well as the IB platafomrs such Kognitive and Manageback. Oversee lesson planning and the validation of assessments to be administered to students during formative, summative, final exams, recovery, and final recovery periods. Coordinate and organize mock exams for ENEM/University Entrance Exams and mock tests for the Diploma Programme exam. Organize regular meetings with the teaching team to align expectations and procedures. Produce an email summarizing the biweekly meeting and send it to the participants with a copy to the Head Of School. Develop and monitor the institutional calendar for each level, including activity dates, events, mock exams, etc. Create the class timetable. Develop actions for the ENEM test days and, when possible, follow up with students. Report to school management on the demands of the segment and align expectations for exam results, both national and for the Diploma Programme. Responsible for organizing the IBDP Exam Session. Review the IBDP Exam Session result reports and develop improvement strategies for areas noted as matters to be addressed. Oversee the entire IBDP process, including presentations to Year 9 and Year 10 students, monitoring teacher outlines, reports, grades, analysis, documentation, and evaluation of all aspects (TOK, CAS, EE, internal assessments, portfolios). Meet with parents and students to clarify curriculum and procedural questions as needed. Have a strategic outlook and understand competitors to collaborate with management in creating strategies and solutions to challenges. Work diligently to ensure students achieve excellent results on the IB Diploma and national exams.
