High School Math Teacher

School of the Nations is a private, not-for-profit, coeducational, bilingual (English & Portuguese) international day school located in Brasília, DF. Math Teacher (Temporary) Section: High School Application deadline: July 7, 2024 Start date: July 18, 2024 Main responsibilities: Plan, implement and develop Mathematics instruction for students aged 14-18. This includes fostering a deep understanding of the content area, ensuring students grasp complex mathematical concepts. Prepare students for college-level exams and standardized tests. The role involves creating a stimulating and inclusive environment, encouraging critical thinking, and promoting the academic and social development of each student, in line with the school's policies, curriculum, and philosophy. Requirements: Mathematics License Degree. Bilingual in Portuguese and English. A minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a bilingual/international setting. Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.
