We deliver coding and robotics classes for children aged 12-18 from disadvantaged backgrounds across Lebanon, including 1,120 students in our programme so far and aiming to reach 4,000 students in the next three years.
They are looking for a Co-Director (Head of Operations) to take CodeBrave to the next stage of growth and impact.
The Co-Director will co-lead our team alongside the Co-Director (Head of Education).Responsibilities:Team Leadership and Management: Support the Co-Director (Head of Education) in leading our team of 30 staff.Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of CodeBrave, including grant management and reporting.
Ensure the preparation of annual budgets and reporting on actual project expenditure.
Oversee the Accounting Officer to ensure accounting documentation according to the proper procedures, realization of annual financial statements and external audit reports.
Oversee the work of our external Tax Advisors.
With the support of our accounting firm, implement and monitor the internal control system, review key figures and financial reports.HR Management and Organisation Development: Oversee the work of our HR Officer, ensuring we have adequate human resources.
Conduct second round interviews alongside the HR Officer, when relevant.
Ensure that the right people are employed for the right positions and that the team is treated according to the principles of the organisational culture.

Organise and deliver Culture trainings alongside the Head of Education or HR Manager, as relevant.Governance Structure and Development: With the support of our legal firm, ensure compliance with relevant national legislation and governance best practice.
Present plans, reports and proposals at quarterly board meetings.
Ensure cooperation with the President of the board.
Ensure that board decisions are translated into clear actions.Fundraising: Coordinate Board meetings.
Ensure CodeBrave benefits from Board members' expertise through seeking advice and support; provide transparent information to the Board as needed.Prerequisites:Education: University degree in a relevant field.Experience: At least 5-10 years of related experience working in the non-profit sector, with at least 5 years working in a senior managerial role.Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of the humanitarian and development landscape in Lebanon, including experience interacting with Lebanese NGOs, the UN, and the Lebanese ministries.
Education sector experience is highly regarded.
Good understanding of the donor landscape in Lebanon.
Experience managing risks within an NGO context.
Experience with NGO governance best practice.Managerial Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, good public speaking, excellent writing skills; knowledge of project management for development results.Languages: Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic.#J-18808-Ljbffr
