This manager will be accountable for delivering process improvement and digital innovation projects on time and within budget. Develop and maintain a highly skilled and engaged team of process engineers and digital specialists. Maintain a SHE compliant working environment for team members. Contribute to the achievement of R&D Latam and HC wide performance goals, including digital transformation targets.
**WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE**
- Delivering Latam HC Category Innovation & Savings Projects in relation to process development.
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 process engineers in developing, optimising, and documenting efficient manufacturing processes for HC FMCG.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for both physical and digital processes, identifying inefficiencies, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions together with SC Process Engineers.
- Champion and implement new technologies and methodologies including automation, data analytics, and digital tools to achieve cost reductions, improve quality, enhance throughput across all touchpoints of R&D (Consumer, Manufacturing & internal R&D processes)
- Collaborate with cross
- functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, and IT to ensure seamless process implementation and integration across physical and digital domains.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation including flow charts, work instructions, control plans, and digital process maps. Also to conduct training and provide ongoing coaching to team members on new processes, best practices, and digital tools.
- Identify and manage project risks and contingencies while maintaining adherence to timelines and budgets for both process improvement and digital innovation initiatives.
- Lead the R&D Latam team in digital transformation efforts, aligning process improvements with digitalization strategies and ensuring effective integration of digital tools and technologies.

- Demonstrated strong technical skills in process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical process control, and data analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional communication, both written and oral, in Portuguese/Spanish and English.
- Strong problem
- solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives within the manufacturing sector.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
